Late summer in the UP is hard to beat. The days are still warm, the bay is busy, and there’s plenty of time left to enjoy everything our area has to offer—but those cooler mornings are starting to remind us that fall isn’t far away. Whether you’re squeezing in a few more weekends on the boat, hitting the trails on your ATV or UTV, heading to the cabin, taking the camper out for one last getaway, or getting ready for hunting season, we’re here to help protect the things that make life in the UP so special. Give us a call for a quote or coverage review, and let’s make sure you’re ready for every adventure ahead.
My team and I are driven by a genuine desire to connect with our customers—no endless phone menus, just real people ready to help. As summer winds down and routines begin to shift, it’s a great time to review your insurance coverage and make sure it still fits your life. We offer clear, straightforward options designed to help protect your family, your home, and your future—tailored to your needs because getting to know you personally matters to us.
This time of year is also a great opportunity to check in on your financial goals. Whether you’re planning for retirement, saving for college, or working toward a stronger financial foundation, we offer a full range of financial services to help guide you along the way. The seasons may change quickly around here, but having a plan for your future can help you feel prepared for whatever comes next.
And speaking of changing seasons, there’s something special about late summer along the Menominee waterfront. The marina across the street is still full of activity, the days are beautiful, and before long the trees will start showing those first hints of fall color. We love having a front-row seat to it all and being part of a downtown community that has something special to offer in every season.
Stop by and say hello! Our office is a warm, welcoming place whether you’re taking a walk downtown, spending the day on the water, or just checking another errand off your list. Banjo, our Saint Bernard office pup, is always ready to brighten your day and continues to be a favorite with our customers. We take pride in being “good neighbors” year-round by sponsoring local teams, supporting community events, and volunteering whenever we can. You’ll find us downtown on 1st Street, right across from the Marina and Swings & Things, proudly serving the Menominee community. I’m honored to serve as president of the Menominee Downtown Business Association and as a member of the GFWC Menominee Women’s Club.
As locals who love all the seasons the UP has to offer, this transition from summer into fall is one of our favorites. When we’re not running half marathons or cooking up something good for the family, we’re making the most of these last long days—getting to the cabin on Shakey Lakes, spending time on the bay, and enjoying the outdoors before the cooler weather settles in. Our rescue German Shepherd and Banjo keep our home lively, and JJ, Walsh, and I also serve in the Civil Air Patrol here in Menominee, giving back to the community we’re proud to call home.
For my fellow small business owners, the change of seasons is also a good reminder to take another look at your business insurance. Your business changes throughout the year, and your coverage should keep up. Whether fall brings a busier season, new equipment, additional employees, or changes to your day-to-day operations, we can help make sure the business you’ve worked so hard to build is protected.
There’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy, with all the beauty of a UP fall just around the corner. Reach out today and let’s make sure you’re covered, confident, and ready to enjoy every mile, every season, and everything in between.
